The Karnataka government has launched a public service scheme to provide government services in home delivery
The Karnataka government has launched Public servant project For home delivery of various government services like ration card, senior citizen identity and health card in certain municipal corporation wards.
The scheme was launched Chief Minister BS YeddyurappaAnd the scheme will have 53 services in 11 departments
Beneficiaries need to request services through the website or by phone. A public servant or a delivery executive will be appointed to deliver services to the citizens.
The main objective of this scheme is to ensure timely delivery of government services and make life easier for the citizens of Karnataka.

Cabinet approves amendments to bring cooperative banks under RBI control
The Union Cabinet has approved amendments to the Banking Control Act to bring the co-operative banks under the regulatory system of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Maharashtra tops the list of states affected by leaked medical information worldwide
Greenbone Sustainable Resilience, a German cybersecurity firm, has released a report on medical data leaks, with Maharashtra topping the list of states in India that have been hit by global medical data leaks.

RBI has increased insurance cover on bank deposits to Rs 5 lakh
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has increased the insurance cover on bank deposits from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.
Deposit insurance has been fixed at Rs. 1 lakh since 1993. Provides cover Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (DICGC)RBI’s wholly owned subsidiary.
DICGC does not charge any premium directly from the depositor in this insurance. So now banks will pay 12 paise premium for every 100 rupees deposit against 10 paise
The Deposit Insurance Scheme covers all banks operating in India, including branches of the private sector, cooperatives and even foreign banks.
