Veteran writer Manoj Das has received the Mysterious Kalinga Literary Award
Manoj Das, who was recently awarded the Padma Bhushan for his outstanding contribution to English and Oriya literature, received the Mysterious Kalinga Literary Award for 2020 in the Indian and Global Languages category.
The Mystic Kalinga Sahitya Puraskar will have a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, a khadi shawl and a certificate.
He will deliver a keynote address on “Divine Madness: Knowledge, Ecstasy and Transformation.”
He is currently teaching English Literature and Philosophy at Sri Arvind International University, Pondicherry.
